WELCA Raising Up Health Women and Girls

When Women of the ELCA units want to start a health ministry in their congregation, Raising Up Healthy Women and Girls offers seed grants to help them get started. Grants have been used to start community gardens, nutrition and cooking classes, and a hula hoop fitness ministry, to name a few. Your donation will help women start ministries that inspire and support women and girls to thrive by living lives of physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental health.
In 2012, a global component was added to support new ministries outside the United States.
