Clean water is one of the most powerful ways to make change in the world. When a woman has a well right in her village, she doesn't have to spend all morning walking to get water. She can work, earn money, put food on the table and send her children to school. One water well can open a world of opportunity.

Give through the mail by sending your check to ELCA World Hunger, P.O. Box 71764, Chicago, IL 60694-1764. Be sure to put "100 Wells" on the memo line of the check so that it can be included in the national total. If you would like your gift to count toward a synodical goal, please also indicate your synod ID (e.g., 5A) in the memo line of your check. You may also give over the phone by calling 800-638-3522.
