Please join us for a special event to learn more about how continued and escalating conflict in the Middle East has impacted the ELCA’s work in the region and our response — as well as next steps you can take to make a real difference.
Because of your commitment to the ministry we share, we want to offer you the chance to hear “on the ground” updates and discover how the ELCA is accompanying the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land along with other partners in the region from the Rev. Gabi Aelabouni, who oversees the ELCA’s Service and Justice work in the Middle East and North Africa region, and Shadin Nassir, associate for the region.You will also meet ELCA missionaries serving in the region, Rev. Mark & Jennifer LaChonce and Rev. Dr. Christy Lohr Sapp & Paul Sapp, who will share about their work and experiences as well as the continued work being done by local partners.
These representatives from the region will also show you the best ways to provide immediate and effective support where it is needed most. We hope you can join us! |
